Protocol:  I put 36 separate holes in the ground at LC to sample soil, approximately the same locations as the gas fluxes. For each sampling location, I have data for peat depth, and bulk density and %C and %N for 0-10 cm, 10-20 cm, and 20cm-end of depth profile. From these data, I should be able to calculate for you mean peat depth and mean total carbon, with some kind of error bar. If this sounds OK to you, I’ll try to put this together and send it out tomorrow, when I am done teaching for the week. If you don’t hear from me after a few days, it means your request fell off my radar and you should bug me again (sorry, but it happens).
